Fishing

Is this not the cutest picture? I mean look at that great cast! I had no idea Andrew was such a great little fisherman. I don't particularily care for fishing so when Andy wants to go catch a fish it's usually just him and his dad.

Right outside of the building where Andrew takes swimming lessons is a fishing pond just for kids. Fish & Game stock the pond so kids are pretty much guaranteed to catch something. So after swimming all three of us headed over there. Andrew absolutely loves to catch his own fish and take them home to eat. The night before, Tim had taken him fishing somewhere else with a couple of buddies but only one of the guys caught a fish. Andy was excited at first until Tim told him that that was John's fish. Andy got mad! He said very firmly, "I'm hungry, I want to catch my own fish!!" So tonight, he was able to catch two little fishies that ended up in our frying pan. Andrew ate both of them and could not have been happier!
